Our story

The Butler family began this business in 1985 at their childhood home on 306 and Mulberry. They started with a humble wagon carrying about a hundred pumpkins to sell on the corner. Mr. Butler, his wife and daughter have expanded the business into the vibrant fall destination it is today.

Mr. Butler’s oldest brother, Richard, along with his wife and their children, played a significant role in the growth of their business. For the first 20 years, they cultivated all the pumpkins, cornstalks, gourds, squash, mini pumpkins and straw bales on their farm in Ashtabula, Ohio. They would harvest everything, load the trailers, and deliver it to Mulberry Corner’s. They all enjoyed bonding as a family while unloading numerous trailers throughout the month. Even their mom at age 80 would come down and help!

Beyond their quality pumpkins, they offer a wide variety of fall decorations including cornstalks, straw bales, fall and halloween metal signs, mums and more! The family has also created a fun haven for children with a hay pile for climbing and jumping on, a corn maze, and friendly goats to pet. They have Halloween cookies and a small variety of baked goods along with fresh popping kettle corn. Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for capturing memorable fall photos.

The 2025 season will be their 40th year in business.
